Analysis of Microbiome data using R (after QIIME2) 


Description

This workshop is a follow-up of the “Microbiome analysis using QIIME2” workshop that covered amplicon-based microbiome analysis using the QIIME2. The R package “qiime2R” will be used to convert data files exported by QIIME2 for further analysis and graphical explorations.

The result from the previous workshop will be used to demonstrate basic analyzes of microbiota data to determine if and how communities differ by variables of interest using R.

This all-day workshop will consist of lectures and hands on training to analyze from raw dataset through publication-quality statistics and visualizations.

Prerequisite:

– basic understanding of R (See workshop “Intro to R/RStudio”)
– basic understanding of statistical methods.
– basic understanding of Qiime2
